Training Philosophy

All of us here at the Rocky Mountain Guniversity are dedicated to ensuring that you have a fun, safe and rewarding experience with your new or existing firearms, no matter what your skill level.  To support this goal we offer a comprehensive set of classes taught by world-class instructors.

Our courses follow established standards while ensuring that the deep expertise and experience of the instructors is showcased.  Our focus on safety at all levels, real-world expectations and scenarios and private range combine to ensure your training experience is the best available.

We offer both group and individual instruction and can customize content for nearly every need. 

Our exclusive training courses (non-NRA) have been created by combat veterans and veteran law enforcement personnel.  The instructional materials are also reviewed by a wonderful woman who holds a Masters Degree in Education.

We have a special place in our hearts for teaching children about gun safety and guns.  Please inquire about our free children’s gun safety classes and reduced rates for Scouting and other youth organizations.
