Services
Service Your Glock
Whoever heard of servicing a Glock? They just run, right?
Actually, Glock recommends that their Safe Action Pistols be
serviced every 3000 rounds by a Certified Glock Armorer. Rocky
Mountain Guns and Ammo has Glock Armorers on staff that can perform
your 3000 round service and inspection while you wait, on most days.
The cost is $62. Drop by or give us a call to learn more.
Gunsmithing
Whatever your gunsmithing need, Rocky Mountain Guns and Ammo can
provide it. Our gunsmithing services range from basic and
major repairs to custom-built guns and everything in between.
Our on-site armorers can install a new barrel or quad rails on your M4, while you
wait or our third-generation gunsmith can restore that old rifle
your grandfather left you or build you a custom 1911 that you can
leave to your grandchildren.
Gun Coatings
We offer the latest in coatings for all of your firearms. We
can re-blue that old warhorse sitting in your closet, dip a
camoflauge pattern onto your gun, apply a rust-proof coating or
simply change the colors of your gun to fit your tastes.
Grip Alterations
Our onsite armorer can add a beavertail, custom finger grooves, a
grip texture that fits your preference or perform grip reductions
and additions to your polymer framed pistol or our offsite gunsmith
can make any alteration you choose to have made to your steel frame.
Restoration
Our off site gunsmith can restore any firearm that is in need of
restoration.
Bore Sighting
Got a new scope and don't want to waste time and ammunition
trying to get it on paper? We can bore sight any firearm,
usually within a few hours and often while you wait.
Sight Installation
Our on site armorer can install most pistol sights while you
wait. Shotgun ghost rings and other sights that require
alterations to the firearm can be installed within a few days.
Appraisal
We offer both informal and formal appraisal services. Our
staff in the store can quickly look up your gun's value and give you
a solid understanding of what it is worth or our off site gunsmith,
who is an NRA certified appraiser, can provide you with the
appraisal documents you need to insure your firearms.
